**WELCOME BACK! **

We hope you and your family are in good health.  Our community has been through a lot over the last few months and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and we can assure you that our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We closely follow the activities of these agencies to ensure that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

1. Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you check-in at the office.

Gurnee Dental Arts2. Upon arrival at the office, we will first ask you to check in via phone. After the check-in process, we will ask you to wait in your vehicle until you are called in.

3. **Please do not forget to wear a mask. **

4. For the time being, we ask that only patients enter the office. We will implement a front door hand-off for those who require assistance.

5. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter and exit the office.

6. We will take your temperature and will ask you to rinse with hydrogen peroxide.

7. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.  That might mean you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

8. Please anticipate longer appointment times, as we employ new check-in and check-out procedures, as well as, additional chairside techniques to reduce aerosol production.

9. We will ask that payments be done over the phone whenever possible.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you and every patient safe in our practice.

To make an appointment, please call our office at 224-433-6009.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, our neighbors, and our friends.

See you soon,
Dr. Loreno and Cynthia
